She's not totally horse mad, just animal mad.  She and Zan will sit for long periods of time, naming animals in books.  But horses were the first animal she identified.  And named.   And played at.  We took her to some horse races today.  Local ones, which were advertised (falsely) as Brumbie races.  She stood next to her Grandpa during the first race and said "six horsies" (there were a few more than six). Yep.  I love my two year old.

And these are unrelated to anything, but just imagine!  Too pretty for words.

I've been working on some stuff, and hopefully it will be ready to show soon.  I have a few end of the month/financial year jobs to get done and a trip to Auckland to make (more about that soon - kind of exciting), and then I'm going to dive into some craft stuff.  Get some of these ideas out.  For some reason it feels like this might be gonna be a very fast moving year.  Almost April.  Autumn already.  A nine week old son.  Wow.
