2012

This year, amongst other things we have:

Welcomed in a baby boy.

Warmed a new home.

Started a business and then stopped again.

Enjoyed nature and its seasons. 

Made things.  Some of them quite random.

And also, many of them Christmas things.

Designed fabric.   For fun.  Via Spoonflower.

Raced Amazingly with a pretty ace team of folks.

Taken our first overseas(ish) holiday as a family.

Gazed at whales while we were there.

Thrown, and helped to throw, many parties.

 Enjoyed visits from special people.

Designed free printables.

And new products.

Finished my alphabet series.

 Participated in KCWC.

Got in amongst some amazing swaps.

Hosted Blog Events.

Had friends to visit.

And seen my face and my work published elsewhere.

It's been a big year, and these snapshots are really just the tip of the iceberg (the most momentous event by far, being the addition of a boy-child).  I can't help but reflect on all the good that has come to us in the past year, as well as a fair few struggles too.  I'm looking forward to what 2013 will bring.  I think it will be a very different year in lots of ways, though there will still be much of the same too (thankfully, because I am a creature of comfort).   I'm sorry I haven't provided any links, it was challenging enough for me to compile this visual list, and really made me appreciate how much I've actually done these past twelve months.  I'm sad to say that much of it was inconsequential, but we've had a lot of fun.

Today is the last day of this amazing year, and also the 5 year anniversary of me and my love (*ahem* yes, New Years Eve).  We will celebrate with a rare just-the-two-of-us date, and then dinner out with our little ones, before finding a party to get in amongst.  Farewelling 2012 and ringing in the new.  Happy New Year, friends.
