Preparation

The lovely bride organised for all the hens to stay with her at her FIL's house on the eve of her wedding.  After a long day spent setting up the wedding venue, making favours and decorating cupcakes, it was SO nice just to hang out with friends, drink champagne, paint toenails, and giggle like teenage girls.  Boy-boy was with me too, which unfortunately meant I didn't get much beauty sleep, and the following morning of make-up, hair-dos, dress adjustments, and a lot of waiting around, wore me and the little guy out a little.

We left in three separate cars, waving our beautiful friend off as her FIL drove her and her sisters to the venue.  I journeyed with some of my besties, and we couldn't stop exclaiming about how unreal it all felt.  Like one of the dreams we'd described to each other when we were younger.  In fact, that was kind of the theme for the entire day.  I took very few photos, and I have a sad feeling that the professional photographers didn't quite capture all the magic (though here's hoping).  I will endeavor to share some of their pics when that's possible, and later I will post a couple more images from the venue itself, though I took a paltry few.

A pretty epic weekend.  I will admit to feeling just a little relieved that all that fun is over with.  Now we are resting up, while E battles a fever that sprung up yesterday afternoon.  Coffee and DVDs and lounging.  *Deeeep sigh*
